1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information during and between visits. They allow the site to "remember" your preferences (language, theme, session) and help us understand how the site is used.
2. Types of cookies we use
We classify cookies in four categories:
a) Strictly necessary cookies
Essential for the site to work (e.g., keep your session or store your cookie choice). They cannot be disabled.
b) Preference cookies
Remember choices like language and theme (light/dark). Applied only with your consent.
c) Analytics cookies (anonymous)
Help us understand aggregate site usage (most-visited pages, average time). Whenever possible we use a cookie-less tool (Plausible Analytics); when we use Google Analytics 4 we enable IP anonymisation.
d) Marketing cookies
Allow showing relevant ads. We currently don't use any. If we do, it will always be with explicit consent.

4. Manage your preferences
- On the banner shown on first visit, you can accept all cookies, only essential ones, or customise.
- At any time you can revisit your choice by clicking Reset cookie preferences.

5. Third-party cookies
Some embedded content (Vimeo videos, maps, etc.) may install its own cookies, governed by the providers' policies. We keep these embeds to a minimum and, where available, use privacy-enhanced modes.

This policy may be updated to reflect technical or legislative changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date visible at the top.
